Problem with ableton and some vst ..!

hello people
recently I have a problem with Ableton Live 8
I explain ..!
since I download a midi pattern on the internet.
Most of virtual instrument but wreaked havoc, the preset that changes every one, when I stop and restart the sound plays.
it makes me almost on every instrument but exept massive and FM8
hoping someone can help me solve the problem

select and copy the entire midi pattern inside the piano roll.. and paste it into a new midi.

there usually is a program change inside those midi patterns..wich forces every synth to a certain preset number...like trevon said, just copy the musical information into a new pattern or delete the program change..
