Hello
I sometimes try to make some loops and samples so that I can use them later in my productions.I export them as wav and keep them in folders.
After few days when I try to use them in my composition,I do feel that there should be some change in certain loop and sample which I am unable to do as its already in wav format.Does anyone else experience the same problem?
I export everything to wav to save CPU usage so that I can add more but this actually limits my creativity.
On the other hand when I compose everything in my DAW without exporting anything to wav, i can change anything that I want.I mean to say I can go with the flow. But then the CPU hog hinders my creativity.
Is there any solution in any of the options?
Thanks:-)

freezing tracks? bounce to wav and keep the instruments bypassed? save project-files if you just do loops or samples for future work?

Or you could just save the presets..
  You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |

I am not sure all DAWs will kill the CPU when a plug-in is in bypass.
As far as creativity goes. Some people look at committing to a stage of production helps move the project along. Some of the producers I have spoken to who used to do everything out the box, except DIDI sequencing say they find it harder to write songs now.
For every step you keep open you could say that you are a step further from finishing. |

freeze you track.
turn off vsts that are not on the part you currectly compose.
keep history of you projects (porject1_day1.cpr, porject1_day2.cpr)
Do not export if you dont really have to.
