Hello , i've just connected my pc to the pc of a friend.Basically we use our midi interfaces to do it and join the spdif out of my pc to the spdif in of his pc.We use his m-audio delta 24/96 (i think) and the card that comes onboard with my mobo (asus a7n8x-e...by far not great audio but does the job).
The thing is that the two pcs don't sync.For example we open a project in cubase and press play on the pc that's set to master but the other one seems to go a lot faster!
Even when winamp plays a track on the master pc it seems to play it 4-5 bpms above its original value.
But If we disable digital input and/or use the analog line out of my card then there's no problem...everything works fine!
Any ideas why this happens??? |
