he audio file can not be changed
volume or file is locked ..
this is the warning im getting each time i put some waves on the audio track .. and i try to change they'r bpm with time and pithc machine or outher process ...
i allready changed permision and ownerships in the disck and the folders .. but it is making the same ..
why ?
need help urgent im getting really mad with this :|

its what ive done .. and the prob still the same.. but i allready make a slution .. but this is something that all mac users point .. this is dam stupid .. but ok .. i have only changed the files to another folder .. and the problem disapear ... very strange thing ..
now everything working .. and making music again eheh

Your explanation is a bit vague...but i think that the files u are pointing at, are files that are "frozen"...atleast, the only time ever, i get this message, is when i try to move objects in a "frozen" track...u have to unfreeze them first...

If that's OS X, you probably need to change not just the file permissions but the folder permissions as well. |

Eh...did u check if u maybe accidentally locked the track ?
When does this occur ?
With waves u mean audio?!?!...be a bit more specific, maybe i can help... |

in my library doc folder . i have some 30 giga form samples .. drum .. fx .. voices.. riff from dvd .. drum loops ..
wave samples.. and some specific folder are not alowing that i change the files ... i allready chaged the permision for each file .. each folder .. even to the disc .. and nothing yet :

Hmmm...never ever encountered a problem like this...
Some wild guesses...
-Is this the same when u save the sounds u use in the project-folder of the current song (save as project) ?
-Did U save the sounds in your "users" library ? If so...Is it possible that u saved the samples on a different account ? >system prefs>acounts...because when u save things when your on account "A"..you are not allowed 2 do things with those files on account "B"(unless "A" says so).
That's about all I can think of at the moment...

try to make a copy of those files and try to open the copy. maby you can trick the system..
i had the same prob but with samples that i didnt use long time.

btw does anyone knows wtf when opening some songs appers a message " cant delete "name".wav"
its about a wav file with the same name of the song but even if i delet it myself everytime i open the song he comes with the same shit. but its only in some songs. some came from difrent computer some dont..
