ok.. Pls Help Me With This...
I Took A Sample From The Bank And Played With It A Little Bit...
I Put The "MOD" Scroller Up And Then I Played Something And Pressed play.
When I Presed Stop I Noitece That The "MOD" Has Gone Back Down...
How Can I Keep It Up?

ok... im really pissed off right now...!
i got the last version (2.5) and its still doesnt work!!
hhhheeeeeeelllllllllpppppppp mmmmmmeeeeeee!!!!
when did i do worng? i just slide it up... its there another way of doing that?

maybe you should try to record the sysex of this virtual synth, i mean when you record, play with the MOD, and make sure it is recorded as midi sysex.
(maybe you played with sysex earlier, so after you try to play the synth back - it gets back to the settings that are written in the sysex track ....
but maybe i'm wrong!)

and then install it without the mystery file |

when you use MIDI instruments they send messages between each other. there's 2 types of midi messages -
System Common - note on/off, pitch up/down etc. common to all standard midi instruments(SysComm)
and System Exclusive - something characterising this particular instrument - patches changes, special buttons slides, other special parameters changes,non standard controller changes etc. - it is personal for every MIDI instrument.
System Exclusive is SysEx.
anyway the parameter slides are sysex, and cubase has them not recorded by default.if you go to midi settings -> midi filtering, you'll probably see checked sysex (=>it is filtered=>it is not recorded) in both recording and through.so uncheck it for recording.
btw. your problem is maybe because you don't save the patch and _maybe_ cubase reinitializes the VSTi's in the beginning of the track, this means - it will return to what it was => simply set your knobs to what you need and save it as patch (fxb), so it will remember this.
