Yes, now wait until they have the first update, as the first new release is usually buggy!           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Around 1:40 that linkin park dude starts to talk about this new cool feature where you can change notes in a midi page and it automatically changes the notes in all the copied pages!! Isn't that like the exact same thing as the concept patterns? (a feature everybody hates about fruityloops for example?)

I'm sure protools 8 has a lot of cool things and is really good 'n shit but that feature is the only thing they mention in this video, which is quite weak imo.           http://www.soundcloud.com/bandarlog

It's like ghost clips in Cubase. If you hold alt+shift when you drag a clip it makes a ghost clip (not sure on that term) and then any clips that are copied like that are all linked. You can change it back to normal clip as well, this has been around for a while.           ~Airyck~

So, I got my upgrade, and it was well worth it. PT itself and the sessions load a lot faster than before. They have enhanced there midi stuff enormously, there is a midi compensation for latency in there as well. Then there are some interesting new mastering plugins.
Zork, wait a while before selling your m box, at least give it another try. You might like it.           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Well, sounds good m8, but i already sold it..

i believe there are many improvements, but i will stick with cubase..there is almost all i need..

only thing that bugs me right now is that i do not get the x/y pad of the NanoPad automated in C4..

Cubase just don`t understand the control change..

pointless what i adjust in the editor..

but there is nobody at Korg right now..all on holidays ..

perhaps the nano thing is not a korg problem since they work beautifully with my logic setup i would point fingers at ze germans here although unfortunately for you they have also chosen to take some time off for the hollidays. Protools for production of music compared to logic or cubase? ahahahaha i was laughing when i took a protools mix course some time back and i am sure that i will still be laughing about it now. Only usable on digidesign hardware or the pitiful m-audio range. if there ever was a program with more hardware lock-ins than this iŽd like to see it. Midi has always been the achilles heel of digidesign although each iteration has shown good progress they just cant seem to steer away from their "protools is a mix platform" concept.
