I just heard you can buy protools 8 at toy`s r us in the states..loool
And even with this update they killed the downwards compatibility to older systems..

Pro TOols is great the only big mistake of their policy is with the interfaces.If you have a nice rme or focusrite or just sth else expensive but good you still need a special different like digidisign etc.That sucks but there are rumours that they wanna change this or that you can use PT on each good interface.Hopefully up from the next version.
