Hey all!!!
I keep hearing that to get better quallity I should invest in a good soundcard... What do theese offer me that my 120 Nis Vibra 128 doesnt`? I meen music doesnt` come in dolby pro-logic or in surround, you have only two channels! Is the difference in the frequency peeks? Im using a 200W simple stereo amp (Onkyo) with two 3-way custom 200W speakers (polk audio woofers!!!) and they sound pretty fu*% great... So why pay 300-600 Nis for a "pro`" soundcard? |

only 300-600? more like 2000-10000 !
Any the differences are in better DAC/ADC, 2496 processing, DSP, and many more things. |

Liron,
I wouldn't advise u to go on and get yourself a pro sound card - it is very expensive compared to the Vibra 128 u have and this is not the first thing necessary for you to start making music.
Instead, I would ( if I was you ) open some instruction books according some synths and some basic sequencer programs, get into the world of the digital/ analogue music making and try to understand what it's made of and what one needs to start with.
Mind u, because the quantity of the possibilities to start is great - there is much of everything u can put your eyes on - so u have to decide what u want to do first.
Gather that knowledge, go to the sites that were written before and try to see what u need.
Pro cards are for stages after the stage your'e in at the moment - that is mine opinion ofcourse and I might b mistaken.
Good luck !!!
