Hello Fellas,

i asked my self a question:

you´ve made some pretty bass with zebra2, esm ... ,but...
it doesn´t sound clear and fat like those you hear in some Pro- productions.Whats the clou? How to do?

What do you mean?
I´ve read all about that bass thing, but how to get a fat clear and smashing bassline?

true that!! eq my friend, notches work for me. i use quadrafuzz and use the filtors provided to find ''that tone'' i hipass using the quadraphuzz, say at E1 i notch at about 60hz 80hz 150hz and URS blt on 500hz. use ozone 4 eq as it has the Wavelength in realtime. choose which one is worthy of the subbass freQS Kick or Bassline (50-55hz)

without an example, all i can say directly about your bass is keep tweaking your synth patches. a thing to keep in mind is that even if your bass is super fatty and clean, it won't sound good if other sounds are sitting on it in an inappropriate manner. If your bass sounds bad by itself, then post an example, but if it sounds good until the rest of the mix descends, try high passing other stuff above 350.           http://soundcloud.com/the-andychrist

Also consider a solo bass timbre as well as a timbre with the lead etc.

Totally.

There is no short cut to experience I'm afraid.

Play with different EQs, understand what they are doing to the sound in the 200-500hz area... get voxengo SPAN, and abuse that block setting!

There are no easy solutions to this issue.

You will get there in the end...

Patience, young jedi!

even with a sampled waveform like trilogy has you wont have the envelopes and filters of the synth (like juno or sh etc), since you have (@greententacle) a virus, should be really easy to achieve a great bass out of it, keep it simple, one waveform, one 4pole and play with envelope amount and filter decay to fit it, plus velocity, & a little afterward processing with a distortion/saturation (quadra etc) and a touch of eq should be fine..
