for a kick bass sending presets is a bit the same imo
its not a course that will make your earing better but it learn you how to copy someone technics that can be great thing offcourse but your level as a producer will be basically the same as before imo their is no real shortcut but lot of hours working on getting the sound you are after. |

there is also load of tutorials on the net for kick bass but same shit,you will be more rewarded in the end by spending hours experimentating than looking for shortcut / easy ways |

There you go! That is basic tutorial in FL format (what Atma uses) which will show you basic EQ, compression, pianoroll, levels, group channels, sends and master channel for drums, bass and percussion. Atma was using light mastering settings on masterchannel while mixing.. FL Infotext will tell you what plugins you need for it. Acid pro 4.0 is not necessary for track EQ's, i have 6.0 and its work fine..
It is his ideas so try it if you find some useful tips on your own pruductions. To me it opened the whole idea of grouping channels back then. Also there is very nice FL reverb preset on send channel for drums and bass.

Yeah , a vs should be a mutual respect project IMO. Someone should want to collab with you. As Pom says..there is a danger of production lessons leaning to much the the signature sound of the person teaching you, but learning industry secrets can be rather beneficial
Frozen Ghost is technically the best producer Ive heard. The south African Psy scene is banging out really modern style psy, and the talent coming from there is impressive...inc Aviv |
