Private messages / new function would be great

hey guys,
I have been thinking lately about differente functions at receiving PMs.
And i came to one good idea i think, but i dont know if its possible to create that kind of mod function here at isra forum. My idea is kind of a simple one. so this is my result; It would be great if an user receives a PM in one moment, one special window should be opened on the middle of the main page with some kind of a warning sign ( NEW Private message in you inbox ). And when a user click on that window, he should be redirected into his inbox, so he can see his PM.
What do you think about that? Because i have noticed lately that a lot of users dont even see if a new message arrived or not. So you need to check your INBOX constantly.

we plan upgrading all PM system some time later. and then the function will appear.
it's kinda easy to implement;-)

hmm funny , i allready getting new pm line in the homepage
just next to Welcome Elad in the bottom  BUT since the banners its kinda down there in non visible unless scrolled... , third "bad" point for the banners  (the first is that they not change inough at all and i allready hate those t-shirts ads , and not reply to advertise offers is weird)

im happy with the "USERNAME, you have X messages" on top right corner...
and to be honest, i hate unwanted poping windows, and the simpler the whole layout is, better... but then again, thats just my opinion =p

sorry to disturb you but can i ask a question?
people are telling me that they have sent me messages, and my box is full. but actually it is not full. happened a few times till now. now i only have 23 messages, i delete all the time. but someone told me again, it is full. why is that?

i did!!! really! it is empty!
what is going on?
i have 23 messages and it shows i am 98 percent full. this is impossible because i have also had 35 messages so i was over the 100 percent or what? okey i go to delete again.
