presonus firebox problem.....need your help!

i plugged everything and installed the drivers everything went smooth,at first the light on it was blue but after 10 min it turns to red.
i downloaded the latest drivers and still same thing,same at my friends house with the same card..what could be the problem?
he uses windows vista and i use 7. |

Try installing older drivers. If that doesn't work, then take it back to your retailer because the Firewire port might be blown. |

i reinstalled it again and now the blue light is on again and seems to be working , it means it didnt blow up right? |

i would always use the external power plug..cause fireboxes sometimes get in trouble with bus power..
