Speedsound strikes me as being another direct-to-videotape kind of label. Do people really buy their releases? Seems like even the pirates don't bother sharing that stuff. But hey, it's your call.

lol, well the contract is sign...now it's just waiting...and about the other answer, let me think...a label it's an extra promotion, tracks on beatport, itunes, juno download, it's an extra promotion... make people paying for the artist work and not disposing the work for free gives some extra value to the work of the artist. For that way of thinking , why not performing for free too? Or when u went to your work just work free for your boss...lol

It depends on the ppl taste...morning is dead, that's why i'm leaving. But while morning was on top you must admit that those were the golden days of the Psytrance culture

There are much better forms of promotion i.e. the "extra value" of massive exposure through free music. If you are making hundreds or thousands of sales through Beatport and Juno then obviously this approach is working for you... but it seemed on page one that you are not enjoying such success (which is tremendously uncommon in any case) to the point where you mused about giving up. Anyhow, no one is suggesting that you should perform for free... only that if you aren't getting any gigs it doesn't help if you lock up your virtual CV/resume.

Yes, true I know that. And I've release a few tracks in a free label just for promotion, and I'm getting gigs sometimes...But as you know full on morning is a bit out of sight. That party spirit died a bit, the old essence was lost.
So has the music culture change, the artists change too, it's a question of adjustment. Even if the sales were big i prefer to keep 2 projects, the old one and start a new one from "the ground"...And you maybe ask why my project can't turn into dark, or more Psychedelic sound instead of morning. The reason is that i do what i like mostly, and not thinking so much of the € in the end.
As you understand I prefer to have both things the "Doing a thing i like" but looking into the actual dance music movement. So what i mean is that in this project i'm not so into it for promotion, i just prefer to release music, see what happen, getting a gig here, there, nothing very serious you know?
