Taranga
Taranga is Joshua's brand new solo-album. 'Taranga' means 'wave' or 'vibe' in Sanskrit, and it is not just a 'solo' release but - in accordance with his musical philosophy - unites again many eminent musical masters from India and Europe to create an energetic, yet intimate world music album full of depth, feelings and nuances.
The music definitely concentrates again more on the natural and acoustic sound scapes of sitar, bamboo flute and Indian vocals and chants - but at the same time 'Taranga' bridges centuries-old musical traditions of India with the global and contemporary pulse of Urban Lounge and Jazz.

Ahir
Ahir, the second new album, is a co-production of Prem Joshua with his longtime musical partner, loop-master, keyboardist, percussionist, bass-player and composer Chintan Relenberg. With their concerts they have been touring the world together for the last 10 years and finally, 'Ahir' will be their first album release under both their names. Up to now this much can be said for sure: Fiery and highly danceable Indo-Global sounds of the highest calibre! Joshua and Chintan, in collaboration with some outstanding Indian musicians, manage to unite the essence of Indian classical raga with infectious modern grooves in a firework of rhythms and melodies.

i luved taranga esp. the title track
but i didn't like the album ahir jus heard it once maybe i'll grow into it
 the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!! |
