lets say i have a midifile with a reverb on it, and i want to mute the whole channel at an exact position (i know there are more ways to do it). my problem is, if i automate any fader i have a very small delay (about 1/64) of the reactiontime of the fader. that means i have to automate every fader 1/64 earlier.

i used ableton, and it was perfect there!

any advices?

cheers

Try automating the Mute button instead, this usually works fine for me. Also check if the length of the delay is related to your soundcard buffer size; apparently C5 automation is not sample-accurate and depends on your soundcard latency.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
