Discontinued models can be good as well, I prefer to buy used. Cheaper

hi
i'm recommend on NEVE preamps
its not cheap but it's the BAST
if u whant a cheaper preamp you have:
* TAB Telefunken V-74 (pair)
* TAB Telefunken V-372/ds/d

The one i decided to buy soon is the Presonus TubePre. It's a very beautifull little box and it retails for only 130euros max. Check the Presonus.com site to find out more. |

I use the ART tube amp for amplifying mic/ guitar. It`s good and costs about 90,- Euro.
BTW: DON`T buy Behringer`s Mic100 - its a noise generator ;-)
