OK I got powerbook g3 and cubase, and whenever I import wave/aif file into cubase it plays it, and then when i click stop and press play again there is no sound anymore, neither from the audio file nor from virtual synth. I think when this shit happens its called an audio fallout. Does anyone know how i can fixe it ? thanx |

do you use the built it sound ? if you do , you should know that the quality is not the best part of the powerbook ,,,, try to import files into the sesions rather then record them though the banana input
if you use the mac only for cubase i would advice u to make a SET of EXTENSIONS only for CUBASE !! (control panel >>extensions manager >>> select a MAC 9.X BASE and enable all the cuase extensions !! > SAVE IT this shloud eliminate a possible conflict of the sound manager or cubase and will give your poor old G3 :) some air
after that IF the problem repeat it self , try to install cubase again (after a clean uninstall process >> you know howmuch it's easy to install PGM's in a MAC OS > : )
good luck
