i was thinking of a LapTop ofcourse and maybe the Ozone as soundcard/midi controller....

can any one recomend a better set up? must be very easy to travel with! no monitors for starters but a good set of Studio headphones(AKG?).....

I have one of these:
http://www.antler.co.uk/compleather/mobileoffice.htm

Fits my laptop, audio interface, power supplies, controller keyboard, headphones (Sennheiser HD25 SP) loads of leads and still has enough room for spare socks, travel documents and reading material for the journey. I've just bought a pair of small Harman Kardon speakers (the same as you get with some Dell systems) and I'm pretty sure they'll fit in there too. They'll be good enough to write with and I'll bring the tracks back to the studio here to mix them.

Maybe without the socks though.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Mr OOOD thx that looks great! can u offer some equipment to go along with that???
Orange...yes i was thinking about the Novation Remote...or Oxygen...cause its cheaper!
no way im taking any monitors so even the small 0.5 ESI's are out of the Q'...headphones is the max i can do.

the way it looks now with the money and the space i got.....

laptop:as Yuli recomended-Toshiba satelite....ill put most my money on a mean monster

soundcard:i would want to get the hammerfall but its a lot of money...i dont think i can do that....maybe used??? if not ill prob go for the novation ReMote 25 which is a 2 octave keyboard plus sounds card i hear with very low latancy and good results as far as sund, and ofcourse very easy to travel with...

headphones:i have my dj headphones (Pioneer hdj 100) Mr Yuli thinks its all i need....any way for the mix & mastering ill need some monitors.....

any other thoughts? ideas?

cheers.           "....or is it???"
