I'm so used to it, so i don't notice it when producing 
I was adviced by someone a couple of years ago, when reaper was v.0.9x
I needed something new to jump away from PC Logiń 5.
Using it since then...
Around ~30 tracks are made with Reaper already.

Can you change that gashing grey/white background to some deep grey like Logic's in Cubase?

I got a Mac as soon as Logic 7 came out. Was pissed off oin the beggining, but accepted the fact that I had to shell out so much cash only to continue using my favourite software and when I realised how much CPU my quad MacPro can handle. Its a beast!
(not saying that you can't have such a powerfull PC at half the price obvisouly).

this is just the background of this window(where automations, adio & midi files are), cubase as it self is also grey/blue.
sorry i dont know if you can change the colour of the background of this window (its white, like word or Excel).
