By decoupling i mean the foam... cool!

If still too boomy try some monitor stands, should be like 50 euros .i guess it will boom less...i use stands and it improved a lot after i moved them from the wooden surface i had it before... especially if the mdf-stands resonate on the desk..

The stands you have now look like a box so i guess they will boost the lows either or other way....the bass will surely penetrate there...i suggest you get rid of them...

Indeed the boxes might resonate, i dont like also the fact that the sound hit on the desk, another reflection area i dont want, but the real big problem is the room itself, the ceiling and walls, the rooms' sound is booming, though if i manage to make some space for stands behind the desk for the monitors, they will be to close to the front wall, anyway hopefully i find the best solution for that.

Cubasing is like Freebasing, just with audio.
Both cost more than you can afford, and leaves you sitting in a dark room with no life, craving for more.

I like the one seat in the back with the big glass surfaced table. You can tell the producers are always sorted
