nice room alex, i can picture it already hehehe,
the back and how the door is slanted at the back and even that window looks so much like my room hehehe freaks me out, but from what i can tell in the pic urs is more rectangular than mines, im jealous
can u list the dimesions of that room?
i just saw it and i said dam that looks just like my room but then got slapped and realized urs seems more longer, mines is not square is rectangular just not like urs, cool room post the pics wen the room gets completed
perhaps my room looks smaller cus i got a omnirax forte desk in there that shit is just huge, everyone who comes to my studio says it looks a spaceship hahaha its just makes my set-up massive but makes my room look really freckin small, oh well can't complain i use to have the studio in my bedroom, now its in a different room |

Right now im waiting to buy an argosy dual 15-800 desk. Then i will put a sofa next to the door to basstrap a bit for me. Will also put some foam up on front and back wall to absorb some of the high frequencies.
Will post new pic when its all done
Where is pic off your room ?

Here's my studio out in the BoonDocks of Florida hehe,
I just moved here not long ago so I still need to
get my acoustics up and running but i'll be backed up for a while, economy fucked up, I'll probably build em myself we'll see how things go Alex

I've gotten so muchhhh... pussy in dat blue sofa it turns into a bed hehehe i wanted to put an aquarium in back wall with some diffusors but it seems it might be a bad idea cus of reflection but for show and relaxation in the studio is fucken an awesome idea.
im still working on my studio, Im an artist so eventually id like to paint some abstract stuff in the walls before, i put all the acoustic but who knows i'll probably just leave it terracota... i never seen a studio terracota so i painted mines terracota, I think it makes the room fun and alive, very vibrant other than that im waiting on a Alesis AI-3 and a sm pro ao3 so i can get rid of the mixers, Im obviously going for the mix in the box vibe, so those mixers are senseless plus with the dat coverters i'll be able to record a whooping 16 more channels at once for a grand total of 52 simultaneous recorded tracks, fireface800 i loves it great soundcard
better than what i got now which is a pain in the ass, solo record , solo record etc,
pain in the ass process, plus as you can see my chair beat up already im looking to get a aeron chair very expensive but well worth it i might get one used off ebay, I'll be also constructing a recording booth in the closet.. 8yrs and im also finishing with my dream studio, lots of work and a back killer but at night i get to do what i love most, MUSIC, but even at times im so beat from work i cant get down hopefully i'll be done with the studio soon and i can work perhaps just 4 days a week so i can work on my own stuff, not everyone elses... the life of an artist dammit... BOOM |

Hey cool setup! How is the Neuron ? Its a really cool room also! Unfortunately i can not paint mine, and only put things on wall by hanging them from a little fillet on the ceiling (the one and only thing i can put screws in, in the room) Cool idea with the aquarium, but yes will not help you on the acoustics. I'm also looking to get an aeron chair, i think it must be some of the best you can get to sit in for working many hours in a row. I can really recomennd superchunk basstraps, easy to make, and not too expensive.
I think i must also buy some minifridge hehe! It's a separate room rented in a building with only studio rooms like this, so gotta have a place to keep the beers n stuff
I just can't wait to get going in the new room. Working with monitors at night will be so sweet!

Thanks Alex,
The neuron is a tresure
nothing like it, they compare it with atmosphere,
but to say that would be absurd. though it does ambient stuff just like it but, theres more to it...
as lead is ok and the bass is ok, this machine is really for ambience, textures, pads, efx, mangling nasty ass fuck loops, it pretty much gives me more of a unique sound that my other synths cant do.
the neuron is not really a preset machine u make ur own models and fuck shit up ya know, i can get a frog model and a tiger model and morph em together something impossible in a sampler, some sy its efx section is like a lil eventide so its efx is really fukn good for board efx, its surround capable but i havent gotten to work with it in that scenario.
now the cons, the company went out of business, the only suffort is a forum that one of the old moderator decided to create to help the neuron user base that hartmann left stranded (Dennis Really nice guy), its a incompleted synth id say its bout 80 complete, the knobs and contrellers could be tricky and over sensitive, they should have comed up with a macro edit, for the resynator sticks are hard to use with all honesty at times, depending on what u trying to do really...
hmm watelse can i tell you bout the neuron oh yeh its inputs were never implemented due to the os never being released.. also if something goes wrong you better hope you know computers and linux cus thats what this machine os is, its very fragile and likes to be turned-on often if not some have reported problems, its a collectors studio only piece / the best sound design tool IMO... i also got the vs which is the plugin version and to be honest is not the same as the board some presets sound the same but on others forget it... the neurons sound really is very glassy or it can be very fizzy like fish being fried
its really unique, i love it but its a board that demands
care, not everyone could put up with it, its really a tempermental synth, overall i rate it a 9 since it wasnt finished which is a true shame, its got lots of sonic potential i'll post some weird sound design sometime when i get a chance so u can chek it out for yourself, belive me its in a league of its own...
yeh the aeron chair's are the shit, im starting to have back and neck pains and a bit on my hands so its a potential next buy on my list before the acoustics, unfortunetaly but my well being has to come first than my music, Dont ya agree?
cus if im fucked up with pain i cant make music period.
tell me more bout those superchunk basstraps, how u build em and what the material cost, if you know any good sites: shoot em lol
yeh a minifridge is good idea, u can also even get a lil microwave encase ur on the run... a sofa that turns to a bed is always tops too dont forget hehehe
so when you bring them girls to the studio haha...
girls get turned-on by the led's and knobs,
well Alex enjoy your new room, the walls look kool eventhough u couldnt paint em, its got a business look, congrats |

Thanks for the long run through of the neuron. What a shame they went out of business
Well the superchunk i made from rockwool pieces that i cut to triangles. Then i just stacked them in the corners and build light frame to keep the rockwool in place, and put cloth on. They where screwed into the walls. also glued around the edges to keep the itching stuff in place. I took these pictures 2 weeks ago when i was taking them apart again. Pic quality is not so good, its just shot with phone.

Think i payed less than 100 Euro in materials for those, and it took what, half day in moderate tempo getting them in place. So wasnt that bad really.
And for sofa yeah im moving one over there already today, its not a bed also, but its very comfortable
Agree with you on bad working conditions is not fun, then rather get a nice chair first, then you can make all the extras, whenever you feel like doing so.
and thanks! i think i won't be at home to much anymore
