But, no really, KILLER year at Gemini. It gets better every year and nothing beats the special California family vibe.
As for the music, I didn't really notice a real difference in the style/time it was being played. If I remember correctly, it's always been very hard at night & lighter during the day. The only real difference from previous years is that then, we had cabins to hang out in & space to go elsewhere, if you weren't diggin' the beats.
I am super thankful & feel very blessed to have played Gemini every year and for being able to share this time with my family! Memories to last a lifetime.....THANK YOU, RICH! <3

Has a inflated sense of self.....does not truly believe in himself but project this to protect his fears of truly being seen as smaller than others or inadequate......Probably has a past history of child abuse, sexual inadequacy, rejection by peers or lovers, addiction or a diagnosable chemical imbalance.....possibly sociopathic to some degree due to the nature of his alienating personality qualities and the paradoxical displays of simultaneously creating enemies and attempting to align himself with others whether or not he has previously offended deeply the very people he attempts to align himself with....again this behavior(performance as a DJ/artist) lacks in a action + reaction reality that is consistent with life on life's terms
PSS. I'm only kidding a fool around, I'm calling Paradigm out on his Dj abilities in stage performance as a professional which is off stage just as well as on stage... He lacks interest in "mirror mixing", which is very important as a producer, promoter, organizer and a DJ 4(four-4er) starts...

You people are too funny.
Get this; EVERYONE who I know, Lawrence, Liz, the ATL People (Cinder Vomit) etc etc are all putting music out there out of the love of providing a mindboggling good time with groovy music.
Yes their aesthetic tastes and styles vary drastically, but damn I know each and every one of these people to varying degrees and they all seem to come from a genuine position of LOVE of the music and attendees of events and have time and time again proven themselves devoted to the psychedelic trance dance experience and damn good parties.
BUT good god something about the internet transforms many of these beautiful people into antagonizing insensitive pricks, ego filled wind bags, etc etc.
I have my aesthetic tastes, but for fucks sake noone played at Gemini with the intention of providing anything but a clear creative and psychedelic set, and everyone played out of love of the scene and love of the music, how can there be so much senseless antagonism spiraling out of creative expression.
If we are really here to challenge and push boundaries within the realms of community and sound than people need to get over their hyperjudgemental bullshit and aesthetic clique-ery.
Floor clearing is the occasionally inevitable outcome of boundary pushing sound, instead of viewing it as a "problem" perhaps organizers and performers should examine the ways in which such reception could be addressed.
In my mind there are an endless number of factors from location (indoors outdoors), vibe, attitude of attendees, and demographics that should be examined to see why exactly things didn't mesh for some people and how exactly the flow could be improved and the dissonance be addressed, such things would be much more beneficial to individuals and the community than endless ad-hominem attacks.
And at the end of the day its just fucking words on a virtual wall, oftentimes more vapid and pointless than the scribblings on a bathroom stall wall, chillout, step back, and laugh a bit at the absurdity of such conflict, embrace the friction because without such tension evolution would cease and stagnation would devour us whole.
