Are you saying your the Promoter of this event and had no clue what Vomit means in the psychedelic World? Can psychedelic not translate to exploration anymore? Breaking Point!!! For who? you? What a time! All the music was sick. Every single DJ who went up knew how to mix and the flexibility factor was high. Thanks especially to Chris Collision for stepping up the plate and taking over for whoever bailed after me on Saturday morn. You killed it bro!
Cinder and Jason Puskara... Men, y'all tore that sumbitch up. I was admittedly in my tent up until the last half of Puskara's set but only cause I was trying to get my case in order.
You guys flipped the fucking chicken switch full force, so I had to re-jig my jag in order to bring the spaceship back out of orbit and back into the stratosphere (as we know it).
Wish I could be at World Bridge to hear the continuation.
Rich, again, thanks so much for doing everything you did in order to make this party happen. It wasnt even a "party"... it was something else... something more special and significant. It was magical to say the least. Your set was bananas.
It was so awesome talking to everyone and getting to speak ENGLISH for the full time at a party for once. It was kinda a reverse culture shock of sorts being back in the US, and in NorCal at that... Everyone was so cool and it was refreshing to bullshit with everyone in my native tongue.
Viva la Gemini indeed.

Is BrainLizzard's name also Kevin, or did both of you simultaneously and coincidentally reply to my post back on Page 3 that I apparently typed and entered at approximately the same time as the two above that induced many of you to add to this thread? I mean the longer of the two I posted on that page. The shorter one is my agreeing that the venue's smaller confines might have had something to do with seeing more people stop by my camp or myself visiting others as I wandered around.
These handles and DJ names confuse me at times. cinderVOMIT's explanation of his was something I had not expected.

This is a review thread and everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Everybody has their own preference of music and I don't think Paradigm was out of line by saying what he said. He seems to be the only one who didn't like the music Friday night so what's the big deal? No biggie!
Anyways, I'm very sad to have missed out on what would have been my 4th Gemini. From the looks of the pictures and videos, it seems this may have been one of the best one's ever! That stage looks absolutely incredible. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. Excellent job!
Although I did not attend the event, I would like to voice a couple of concerns:
I,and I'm very sure the artists involved, would have liked to have seen the VJ's and the deco teams names mentioned before the party and after.
I have yet to see any mention of who was responsible for the visuals and the deco that has been receiving so much positive praise. These people work hard to bring you what you experienced. As a VJ and deco artist myself, sometimes having your name mentioned is the ONLY recognition we ever get. Why is that so? Yes, the music is the primary focus of every event but the lights, the visuals, and the deco have a tremendous impact on the look and feel of the entire event.
Please, give these people some recognition!
Who were the VJs??? Who did the deco??? Lights???
Did I miss their names mentioned somewhere? I would personally like to know who they were.
Psylotus? Dr. Spook?
I don't understand why some events choose not to advertise the artists involved.
Sorry for the rant. I just feel I needed to say this. It's important to me. |

I've not seen you in awhile. I am thinking it was the Crystallization in January. I am saddened about the animosity I see displayed amongst people I like. I am hoping that Aeon's assessment of the ways of internet communication are close to what is being shown here. Whether or not he is right in this particular case, I do have a happy news to report from the Gemini Festival about gatherings being held here in Colorado. I am probably way behind in the curve with this information, but it is still good news as far as I'm concerned. A nice lady came up to my camp introducing herself as Sharon. I did not know who she was. She said she organizes the Gaian Mind Festival. I have heard of this gathering and had been hoping to attend it someday. I believe last year it was held on the same weekend as Gemini. She told me she had moved to Colorado recently and was organizing gatherings or knew of them and indoor ones too. She gave me a flier for a gathering being held July 22 to 26 in the San Luis Valley in Colorado called Vayeb: Day Out of Time. Guess who is listed on it? That's right "Wichdokta". So you'll most certainly get a chance to see Richard in the near future right here locally, 4 hour drive from Denver.  The flier is small and I imagine it will get filled in more as the time approaches. Maybe some of the posters here can come and play and dance too? I have the feeling that with many of you being from the East Coast you know her already. I can hope.

Congrats on the party! I am really bummed I had to miss this year. I would have loved to have heard Bohdis new live set and Boomslang is sounding very interesting...
The deco looks amazing, you were not joking about any of that Dok, absolutely exceeds my expectations.
Im already excited about what the Mendo tribes can concoct together next year!!
