Gemini was awesome! Wichdokta did it again!
I really enjoyed everyone's set that I heard from both areas. The deco was amazing with the giant UV pyramid and the visuals. The sound system was great, could have been louder though. The location was small but cozy, and I loved being able to soak in the creek during the heat of the day. The weather was perfect for me.

it was quite fantastic, as has every other gemini i've been too. none of the djs knocked over the stage, tizzy, hehe. instead, everybody threw down their A game, it was quite a fun ride too.
From the moment they turned the power on the main stage amplifiers, the little valley we were tucked in turned into a musical magic land for the entire weekend.
I thoroughly enjoyed all of the music I heard, i don't have a favorite, it seemed to flow like a larger-scaled story and each act was their own chapter.
The Sheriff did make an appearance on saturday night to turn the volume down, but the show went on and the madness continued.
the weather was perfect for this time of year, hot if you were in the sun, but the shade was nice as humidity was low. the little creek behind the camping was cold and refreshing, but not nearly as large as the feather river. nighttime was a tit nipply so a few extra layers had to be put on to keep going through the night.
the stage looked great too, as well as the live visuals being broadcast on a monstrous screen. the vjs were twisting eye sockets all night, it was pretty cool.
the pyramid combined with the mayan tapestries from the family's artists worked perfectly to help assist the information download. It was great to see some intelligent lighting and atmospheric lasers out there too, it really filled up the tree line.
area 101 is no belden, but it worked out well with wichdokta behind the wheel and a very dedicated crew of volunteers, these folks worked really hard for us.

The music sunday morning got into some really good daytime vibes, some of the better daytime psytrance I've heard this year.
I had a blast doing our set saturday morning, there was a part that went particularly well too, I'm just gonna have to share it in saying thanks to you goofy cool people up there. Oh my god, epic party was epic for sure. ---

Great times! And a very beautiful location. I'd never been to Area 101, and now that I've seen it I can understand why some people might have been hesitant due to space issues with a party of this size, but as Arahat mentioned, good organization on behalf of the crew made it all go very smoothly.
There was a full balanced spectrum of quality psytrance from morning through the day through the night, and of course the long-sought after Gemini vibe was fully intact. Seeing that pyramid stage lit up at night was one of the most impressive I've seen at a party.
While I've had the privilege of playing solo at previous Gemini fests, this was the first time Tom and I got to play together as our Boomslang collaboration project, and we had a blast doing it. Thanks to all the dancers and friends, and of course...
Thanks most of all to wichdokta for all of his amazing work and remarkable generosity that provided us with the event that has been the cornerstone of my psytrance experience for so many years. I've been to quite a great many parties over these last 10+ years, but none have been able to consistently provide such a welcoming positive vibe. Thanks again!

Sounds fantastic.. My thoughts were with you hippies all weekend.
"tit nipply" hahahaha. I'm definitely stealing that phrase from you.
@konflux.. sadly I'm not. I'm going to the UK. better money. hopefully i'll make enough to fly myself out to the US and crash on your couches for a short while and attend a party.

Wish I could have been there I was almost a volunteer staff but I am so broke that I could not afford to go even without paying for entry + food.
Please throw another one next year! Gemini has a unique vibe and musical landscape that I will sorely miss if it's not there next year
No offense to other festival throwers, but I think with the possible exception of Straylight, no one comes as close to doing a trance festival perfectly like Gemini. Perfect balance of music.

Amazing weekend! This was the most fun I've had at a gemini yet! Thank you so much for having me out to play Rich, that was also the most fun I've had djing . Props to those who were up during my set, was so happy to see beams of sunlight coming into the valley midway through.
The music was so amazing all weekend. I really enjoyed every set that I caught. Tomatoes keep getting better each time I see them. Same goes for Dragon, really top notch productions. Bird of Prey's set was really really good (coming from someone who doesn't like most dubstep). Bodhi really rocked my face off- that track him and furious made hit all the right spots for me. Stranger was also really good. Hadn't heard many of his tracks before, but now it's quite apparent that I need to . Chromatone was another standout for me (no surprise there).
Thank you again so much for the party and everything you do for the scene Rich!! You are an amazing person with pure, positive vibes and intentions that I hope resonate throughout the entire community! You've definitely inspired me to continue working to improve and grow the scene through parties and music! All the best!

had an amazing time at my first Gemini...got to meet so many cool people and the music was really amazing - I especially liked Mubali's set (they say the funk is a living creature...+1000)
Got to spin a bunch of fire too, and was happy to see a bunch of other spinners find their way out of the woodwork - had a blast!

The party definitely lived up to the Gemini name.
Music was spot on. Like Arahat said everyone threw down their A game. Plenty of live acts and dj's. A WIIIIIDE variety of psy-styles were played at this event, just how i like it. No oversaturation.
Amazing deco. A waterfall on the hill above the dj booth which turned into a stream that passed through the edge of the camp. Perfect for the warmer afternoon. Met new people and caught up with old friends.
Though the sound wasnt as loud as possible, I actually found it kinda nice to be able to hear everything without it being blasted. It was nice to sleep without hearing a kick and bassline constantly. Plenty loud on the dancefloor and quiet enough in the surrounding area.
It was an honor to play live as BOOMSLANG and recieve such a good response. Aeon and I have been anxious to play for everyone and were happy to have our first performance be at Gemini. I wouldnt have wanted it any other way.
Actually, that last sentence sums up the whole experience.
Witchdokta, Thankyou for last five years. U have influenced many lives through the years of Gemini and we all owe u a debt of gratitude. I hope one day we can do a Gemini reunion and live it one last time.

is there a gemini lost and found? I made the horrible mistake of leaving my girlfriend's favorite gray + orange University of Tennessee blanket behind around in the grassy oasis by the check-in station on sunday. If anyone has it I would pay for shipping to get it back up here to portland....
