possible to slice to midi in cubase?

Hey guys.
do someone of you there know if is possible to slice two midiin cubase? which you can do in Ableton Live?

Hey...

Mmmm maybe:) i saw this tut and try to connect to cubase...

my problem is when i make a perc loop in groove agent. i export it to wav file --> i put some effect on the wav file, and slice it, when this are done, i cant transfer it to groove agent again

it doesn´t cut the midi, he automate de grain delay on the midi channel... you can do it in cubase but you need to do it outside of the midi channel . good luck

how thats right im talking about cubase 5... maybe you in version 6 we can automate in the midi chanell which is a good idea btw...

Here's one way in Cubase, but not as quick as Ableton

Double click your loop and open it in the Sample window.

Go to Hit Points and turn it on, adjust your sensitivity to taste.

Hit Slice And Close. This converts the loop to sliced parts of audio and uses the Part To Event command on it.

Now open Groovy Agent One from your VST list and drag the Event that was created from slicing onto the pads.

It automatically adds each slice into an individual pad which you can then trigger via MIDI.
