If one computer had midi in, then it would be possible. Does your soundcard have midi in?
It wouldn't really be possible by usb to both seeing that you can only connect 1 usb plug to one thing, but you most likely could do the midi in one and the USB in the other.

It actually varies in my experience, as some midi controller will broadcast from both it's USB & Midi port when in USB mode, and some do not. Might have to just try it, or check the manual.

Does it send midi through the midi out when connected through usb?
Mine doesn't... It only sends midi through the midi out when connected to a powersupply. The manual says that you should not connect through usb when using a powersupply (for obvious reasons since it is powered from usb too).
