For a while now I've lost my faith in trance music. Most music being released for me is the same, boring, recycled and commercial. I will leave this subject now cause I feel it'll raise a discussion.
After hearing many good things about Possible Apple, I ordered it and after only 1 listening - I'M INLOVE with this c.d!
It doesn't have much to do with trance except for the fact it is psy - but no trance beats or kicks.
It starts slowly with 2 rather calm tracks, electronic jazz, dark slow music. Without much warning as it gets to the third track, it starts getting totally wacko. Psy breaks, mixed with psychedelic sounds, sometimes faster beats and sometimes slower, but without loosing the kindergarden sounds - chaotic in a way but when lined-up the way they did it matches perfectly, in a perfect harmony.
These guys have no rules! Everything goes, and so well I must say.
You can find much humor in their tracks, even a bit of poppy music and a few lyrics, but not cheezy at all!
Cover is weird. When u look on the front there's a picture of a band, but when u open it there's a illustrated pic of an almost naked girl. Guess it's a reflection of the album's music 
To sum it up an excellent release!!!. How come I didn't buy this c.d before only god knows! These guys are genious. It's been a while since I've been thrilled (musically speaking) by any artist.
To those looking for the interesting and unusual sounds - this one is for you.
Rate: 10/10
Favorite tracks: ALL and especially #3, 4 & 5.

Just another proof of why ppl move from psytrance to another generes just to listen to some versatility and they are happy... don't lose hope on psytrance still - it's our scene.

When Psytrance will be really psy and not just stupid "powerful" sounds or "so called progressive" that is actually closer to house than to trance - then I will listen again to psytrance.
Possible Apple made an incredible album, and it's totally trippy, much more trippy than most of the so called psytrance cds released today.
Btw, the Barry White track is hilarious!!!

Tsabeat, I know these labels... believe me.
I was saying that most people's notion of psytrance is wrong - imo, when the label names you gave me produce true psychedelic trance.
P.S: Cool Front is a sub label of Surreal Audio

i like this alot. this has no negativeness in it.just pure fun. this guy knows how to make people feel allrite...
and about music theres so many good artists you dont have time to waste on bullshneider. as a tip theres new texas faggott just released on exogenic! |
