What's the best way to position speakers in a non-acoustic room?
Angle with walls, distance from listener and walls, height, etc.

Sub (if you have one) must not be covered by any objects or under the table or something. Its location (left right) doesn't matter much since we humans won't notice the difference anyway.

Took some bricks from the outside to increase the height so the tweeters are in the height of my ears. Sounds better now

There is still a big problem of a non acoustic room. I guess since I made that triangle (more or less) the most accurate spot will be in the 3rd corner of the triangle, right?

Distance from the back of the speakers to the walls behind them is about 17 to 18 cm. Is this ok? They have a slight angle so they will face me. Should I add any sponges behind them?
Carpet on the floor?

Carpeting is always good for some absorbency. Your speakers' distance is ok, you'd better use some sponges on the wall behind you, so little will be reflected to the wall behind your speakers.

2 speakers facing inwards at 60 degrees to another gives you the biggest 'sweet spot' - where stereo is the realest!           Within this timeless gathering,
a shining light does dance,
lost from conscious memory,
but visible in trance!

carpet on the floor is a very good thing and often help a lot to remove unnecessary noises in the room.. 20 cm from the wall is ok but surely not less than that, I would try and make them even more far.. Also some sponge or second hand matress would fit the area behind your monitors realy well - some use the big egg trays, because of their shape, they are quite good for breaking the echo of the sound           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman
