another thing...if the portuguese section is open just to give these KIDS a chance for promoting themselves, their cases full of MP3, and lousy music that they do that should stick in their pcs until it has the minimum quality
then, i think it should stick closed!!!

harsh ponishment.....i offerd to help....i think the prob' makers should be kicked out and thats it! 300 users are getting punished for the wrong doing of a few! its easy to ban people according the place they connect from and they cant change their name and come back....unless they log on from a diff' location and a diff' PC and im sure 90% wont go to their neighbors PC just so they can talk shit on the forum!

C'mon djnomolos...
In my point of view, the main problem in the Portuguese section were these sub-21 self called trance-masters. It was very sad to the older users to see how ridiculous this trance section became. So I must conclude you don't know what you are talking about...
There were guys there who write to EVERY SINGLE PARTY POST (and I mean 10 copy-pasted posts every day): "Good luck to this one", "killer party for sure", and if someone asked something about party conditions, price fairness, djs quality and other really important aspects regarding those events, they where imediatly acused of spreading bad vibes and being a trance terrorist. Please... open your eyes.
I've read dozens of these extremely interesting self-promotion threads like: Dj x going to India, Dj y going to Russia, Dj z going to brasil (some of these so called "tours" where actually paid by the djs themselves lol!) wich should be in the promotion section. The mods didn't act because... well... don't really know why. But when I posted a thread about Portuguese Law regarding the use of CD-Rs, it was imediatly deleted! Why? Since we all know the portuguese scene has fallen into this problem and the portuguese authorities are starting to act on this. I've sent a PM to the mods asking them why my post regarding such an important issue like this was deleted and... i'm still waiting for an answer.
Closing the section was the best choice.

i agree with you in some things Dr_Fagundes, but closing it wasn't, in my point of view, the best thing to do!! after all, a forum is a public FREE space, where everyone should be able to express himself, inside the PAREMETERS of the forum!. ok, that wasn't being repected, but closin it down reminds me of ancient times in portugal, before April 25th of 74, where people were censured and arrested just because their toughts were against our goverment position!! i believe in somethin called FREEDOM OF SPEECH, and i think those stupid kids, even being so stupid and imature, had the right to express their toughts!!
i believe the problem is with the moderators, because in other parts of this forum i see moderators closin down topics that they see going out of hand or off-topic!! i almoust never seen that in the portuguese section, why was that??
and, in no place of the earth, 300 people can be punhished because of 10!! iraquians aren't all guilty just because saddam and his friends!!!
REOSANABLE BEHAVIOUR people!
hope portuguese forum re-open quicky, so we can continue changin information, ideas and toughts, whith or without those stupid kids!!

as i said all it takes are some good Moderators and a simple BAN on thoese doing the shit u described!! wouldnt u want to BAN thoese "sub-21 self called trance-masters"???? wouldnt u like to have a good section for your country????? i think u would and CAN!
u are saying the most contradicting things in one sentance.....u are upset for some one closing your important post about CD-Rs...so i see u do understand the value of having a section relevant to the things going on in your country...and u said u are still waiting for an answer....so here is the answer...the same thing i said before...."its easy to ban people according to the place they connect from and they cant change their name and come back....unless they log on from a diff' location and a diff' PC and im sure 90% wont go to their neighbors PC just so they can talk shit on the forum!" so AGAIN all it takes is some good MODERATORS that will clean and BAN the shit and the shitters and will leave the important topics like CD-Rs......

the portuguese section closed by these kind of idiots and more importantly because of the people who were against them.
pseudo mp3 djs ruled that section and because of some people who were against them, it closed...

It's sad to see how people can't see that their attitudes are harming the whole scene...
Forums in read-only, labels closing, parties full of drug dealers and trash on the ground, etc...
It's all about attitude... Giving the example is not difficult, people should help each other, not be against each other.
I'm really sad and disappointed with all this kind of stuff. It's not good for anybody...
But I'll keep it up, and find strenght to keep my ideas alive.
