Ipod is way over $200!
I reccommend a Creative Jukebox, i like mine very much...
Buy the jukebox if you want to record to it, or buy the Jukebox Zen if you want portability above all... |

Hi,
I'm own the old Creative Nomad JukeBox with 6GB, i can say one thing,
if your purpose is like DJing with such a thing, i'm recommend you not to use a MP3 Player, if not then i recommend you the Nomad it's gre8 mp3 player and it not cost so much nowadays - but any of the stuff on the market is allright, just make sure you choose one with good outputs,
hope i helped, |

Hi
I have the Creative nomad jukebox3 40GB..
It's quite huge, compared to an Ipod..
BUT
It's 1000times more handy:
Two internal batterys give you up to 22hours playback
Two lineouts
Optical and minijack input to record on the road wave or mp3
remotecontrol with built in microphone and FM radio
USB AND Firewire..
If you want a machine that is 100% flexible and easily adaptable to any situation go for that one...
Since it is a bit big (as a portable CDplayer) compared to newer ones it's price is dropping..
If you want something that is small, optical well designed but not very well designed concerning connections and battery live go for the Ipod..
It's beautiful.. but for me just too unpractical..
All the best

The i-pod is definetelly not the choice...
It definetelly looks amazing, no doubt about it, and thats exactly what you're paying for. Design.
For what I've heard, functionality is crap compared to others on the market for better prices.

Thanx everybody but i already purchased a Panasonic CD Player which supports Mp3/Wma files.
It's nice player with it's drawbacks but the price was very fair.
