There are many people that cannot make it but also can't sell their tickets either so there are unused tickets sitting at the door. Do you think the Boom crew would be cool enough to maybe give a refund the people who can't make it so it frees up tickets to other people who can't get into the festival? far fetched idea but maybe....

Yes this is so fucked, if i would be there i woul be at the anti-boom !! Fucking hell, i lost 500Euro on this shit ..
But the strange thing is: on tuesday about 16-17Ooclock, my friends bought tickets at the entrance, so what they write on their webpage is simply a lie !!
I also have a friend who had a ticket i could have, but since it personalized i cant use it...
Mawri: So fucked up, i should have gone and joined you in the anti-boom, this is just too much

Boom today is just one more festival of music like others. no spirit no nothing , decor very bad not like in 2006 .

Yeah, I too agree that is way too much people.
It was too many already in 2006...
I can already see 200eur tickets in 2010 
Maybe they can limit to what it was in 2002. No doubt it was the best ratio of person per square meter.

25000 is the number of people in the festival according to the police and order not to sell more tickets was given by the local police to assure good conditions to the participants. |

Well...What can i say...i think that the nick will stand for itself !!!! After a very expensive flight and an extremely long drive under a scorching sun & dreaded heat i finally arrived at the gates only to be told that i could not get in...!?!?!?
Tickets were sold out !?!?!
Just like Kriz some of my friends bought their tickets after Aug 12 ...as a matter of fact the last ticket sold at the door was sold on the morning of Aug 14 !
Did anyone visited the official website where it said that there would be "half pass tickets" sold @120€ each at 6PM on Aug 15 ? I saw !!!!
I tryed to reason with them, i´ve even printed that page from their website...but i gave up ! There was no one interested in my point of view !
Anyway...i stayed at the door talking to the organizers long enough to see one guy being beaten by the 3 security guards !!!! So much for P.L.U.R !?!?
Some of my friends that managed to get inside ( with tickets bought after Aug 12, i cannot stress this enough !!!! ) said that the conditions inside were far from good, at the very least...Long queues, smelly place with low hygiene, a lot of dust.
I just hope this post wont be deleted because i´m sure many more like this will follow from other people who experienced the same as me...

I arrived to home now after 1 week of eating dust.
as some of you said this year Boom wasn't very good...
we have to wait in the queue from Idanha to the gate 20 fuc**ng hours,
there was less deco and even they used parts of Boom '06 so this year they don't spent much money,
the chillout was like a Crystal Matrix chillout: pathetically empty,
and you had to wait in queues for everything, too much people everywhere.
for summer of 2010 choose a different festival than Boom Fe$tival |

Anti-Boom: What you went through i was afraid for.. Thats why i stayed home when i read it was "not availible to buy tickets"... + Stay strong man!
I still wait for a sorry from the Boom organizers, the news item when they posted "no more tickets availible at the gates" was not humble enough (especially when they told 3. August - That it would be no problem getting tickets at the gate)...
