If u can read portuguese you would see that police start to search in the boom festival site! 70 cops with dogs have search the place looking for drugs, there were in the site 200 people working and people from the organization... they didn't find nothing....

This is just the begging... if they are doing searches like this now... just thing what they will do when the festival start.

Fuck the police, they have over 70 drug sniffing dogs ready ? Thats very much man...I somehow doubt they all were trained to catch drugs..

Hi Guys, The Boom Radio is going to be at 93.4 FM this year.
There are several unfortunate changes, that have to do with the licenses and internet connection on the site.

1. The broadcast range is much smaller this year. (20 W power restriction :-( ) So, for the best radio experience, bring a little portable radio for the tent.

2. There will probably be no live radio internet streaming. (However, look for podcasts of the shows from day before on http://www.boomfestival.org/boom2008/multimedia/boom_radio.php

Please check the Google Calendar schedule of the shows (updated live) on www.auraquake.com starting on Monday, August 11th.

We have many interesting shows prepared this year, so I hope these minor technical inconveniences don't put you off.
