i'm just asking because 2 years ago music had to start 2 days after the start....and it started a day earlier...moral of the story..i missed double rel and highko i wouldn't want to miss someone like parus or procs this year (or any of the others tbh)

Encompassed with the full moon of August 2008 we have tuned the following dates:
August 11: Gates opening - Welcome to Boom 2008!
August 12 - August 17: Boom 2008 in full swing.
August 18: Gates closing - See you in Boom 2010!
August 20: Boom after party…Utopia!
Also music start at 12th night! 100 sure!

i think you should not miss khopat, random , menog, phonic request, and concept as well... i hope that everybody of you forum members will arrive with no problem at all specially apatsi 13.. he is helping to evrybody in here. |

i really hope that at least 2 more artists will join to the line up before the festival.... maybe puzzle ? why they canceld him.. at his myspace upcoming's he should have been playing at the boom but he is no longer booked |

not far off now chums!!
we found some cars for rent for a pretty reasonable price out of lisbon...
any of you who miss the bus should check into that.

my bro colomonimbus thanks for your good words,i am just helping all my brothers and sisters who want desparatelly to be part of this amazing gathering...!!!!As far as concern my arrival i am relaxed and full with patience cause the first moments in BOOM will be a little bit scary...!!!(looking for the proper place to camp,waiting unter the hot sun in the line at the entrance...etc)but after all the point is to be there..!!!
And for those who will miss the bus or train or whatever my bro Pangea made a very helpfull proposal..See you all there..

I've checked rates for a rental of a Seat Ibiza with A/C (only car available), from the 11th to the 19th of August, and prices per day ranged from € 13,49 to € 18,99. For this period the total is € 148,91, vat and insurance included, and 900km free. Less than € 75, dividing by 2 persons, or less than € 40, dividing by 4. You can't beat that...

Thanks Jingabé for the nice info on car rental. I had problem buying the boombus ticket so now im searching for the other travel possibilities. I arrive with my girlfriend in Madrid on 10 August. If there is some one or two with the same "problem" maybe is good idea to share rent-a-car from Madrid.
I made query on interrent.com, so from 11th till 19th August its 238 EURO divided by 4 persons its 60 Euros per person.
Also i found buses on Alsa.es that go from Madrid to Guarda(thats 120km from Castelo Branco) its 60 euros for return ticket and Guarda to Castelo Branco is 12 euros one way.
If someone want to share rent-a-car PM me. Otherwise we will take the bus.

Indeed we are all looking forward having some nice holiday time.
only 2 more weeks .( for the pax who are still working, for the rest,who has to much pass time :- )..........
