The nearest train station from the Boom is situated in the city of Castelo Branco. It has connections from the major cities in Portugal. From here you need to get a bus to the village of Idanha-a-Nova. |
|
As far as I have checked there are 3 train stations in Lisboa(Entrecampos,Oriente,Santa Apolonia). Which one is closer to Lisboa airport, and i suppose there will be some hotels near the train station(s) too ?
Should i book the train tickets in advance in some way, is there any possibility they won't be available the same day ?

Last time I just turned up and bought a train ticket... then there's the big old journey. Part I'd most carefully plan is what to do when you get to castelo branco. We were really unprepared last time and started walking didn't work out but luckily we stumbled upon a little cafe and the nice people there called a taxi for us which was quite reasonably priced if I remember. |

in castelo branco you have to catch a bus to idanha-a-nova.. then in idanha just ask someone a ride to the festival

Hey people... Anyone know where will be the caravan park? The car park change since the last editions, it's marked on the map in boom's site, but the caravan park will be there too? Or will be in the same place like the last editions?
|
|
I mailed boom organizers and the caravan park will be in the same place as the car parking.
Quite far I think... |
