people must understand that boom has no sponsors at all! Have you seen what they build inside the festival? It's a goddamn entire city. Last year they brought bambu wood from china or whatever just to buil the liminal village... come one people. Do not complaint about the money |

However i think it's important not to complain about everything. Altough i do think that most of the people in here are positive minded and that's important to keep that good vibe. As we like.
And gotdamit, i'm so longing for the BOOM 2008! |

True...
I just feel that the line-up is missing some more acts...c'mon the music is something important!!!! I also dont care about the "comercial big names" but not all of the styles are well represented...for now!!!
Keeping my faith in the Boom team as usually.
We will have great conferences, great workshops and great concepts at Boom...a great dance-floor would only make sense...

more like an empire city
they spend a huge amount of money on the structures of 2006, and i belive in 2004 they were more cheap and in my opinion it was better in terms of sighting

@krod20
i'v seen the comments 2 years ago, butt there was also a tramendous positive reaction to the mainfloor.
i think nighttime was amazing, fresh, and that a new interesting direction was formed.
i liked more then just that specific music on that festival, and the combination in total was just amazing. for me atleast.
i will b more than a little disapointed if the top artists in this genre (deep psychedelic/"dark") wouidnt play. there is no better time and place to get all the magor acts together.
no russian or greek psy artists?! i was waiting for 2 years...
mayb expectations where too high..

i think pr0fane made a good point here. competition is big and i think people just won't go anymore if it get's only more and more expensive and.....
i mean organisers with great lineups such us aurora, ozora, fullmoon, universo paralello and many more are talking...if you know what i mean. i can imagine that is a big effort to put up such a thing as the BOOM, but i still strongly believe that as organiser you should take a minute or two and then give some information....i believe the boom crew should really do this...to clear up things a bit.

in my humble opinion i think this line up for 160 euros is very expensive i know boom is more than a dance floor but the main atraction stille being the dance floor .
the last edition we have great artist .
progresive artists sally dollaly , ace ventura , liquid soul, banel, sbk ,mapusa mapusa , vaishiyas , lish , yotopia , this year in my opinion only neelix , i think this a big step back .
and for psytrance is the same comparing with last edition .
160 euros is a lot of money if you compare with a festival like tshitraka that coast 55 euros for a week festival ,and a lot better line up i know the infrastructures of boom is very expensive but the profit is very hight to so its not and argument. |

i understand there point with the big names getting booked all over the globe and fresh artists getting no bookings because of that... but SOMETIMES there is a reason why these "big names" are getting booked so much... because they have original, refreshing and quality-music...
and ok , boom is not just about the lineup, but i was already at boom so this year i was going to see some of my favorite acts in a boom-environment : ) |
