I wrote them an email regarding the dance-floor line-up...and i guess the answer was on that specific area. Of course the ambient line-up is not closed!!!!

But i wouldnt be surpised if they would add some more acts to the line-up (dance-floor wise), still if that is the case its kinda of a shitty attitude...the names and the line-ups are not everything but they have to be something as music is a big part of this scene and they are charging 160€ for admission....quality is a must!!!!!!

Why is it a if that the organizers are going to make money?

I have never been to BooM, but as I see it, it is one of the best festivals in the world, and a festival that pushes the boundaries for what a psychedelic festival can be. And almost more importantly - what a festival can do!

Making a festival this size, and a festival that at the same time tries out new concepts costs money - lots of money. The organizers are working two years on each festival, and I think we can safely say that it's a full time job. I only think it's fair that they are rewarded financially for their hard work, so they can put even more time, energy and money into their future festivals.

People are obviously willing to pay the costs for being a part of BooM. If they are afterwards disappointed and don't think it was worth the money, they will most likely chose another festival instead of BooM next time, and therefore BooM will need to improve their festival even more. That's one of the good things about capitalism, despite its many downsides.          DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

Normally i support festivals all over the globe by paying the ticket and of course by spending a lot of money for everyday needs during the festival time.I am not that kind of person who likes to complain by each detail which is not pleasant to my taste and especially for such a big effort like the BOOM festival organization. The last two days i read the comments of the people in this forum according to the final line up and i am wondering all the time where the f#*@ is someone from the BOOM crew in order to give an end to all this comments with an official statement about the line up...I don't want to be rude but only with this way everything will be settled. They announced in their website that at 1st of Juli they will upload the line up but they didn't..Unless they mean with the final line up all the names which are uploaded since Juni yhe 20th.I am sure that someone from the BOOM crew read this comments and he will have the time to give us all a simple statement.I take as an example the FOOLMOON crew, who responded allmost immentiatelly to a question of my bro Spikydelic about the time table of the festival in this forum. So guys if you are reading this please give us a statement so we can stop make theories, complains and negative thoughts about the best and biggest psy festival in this universe....

Full support to the BOOM crew,i still believe in your efforts...!!!!

I have just written to them about all that....its time for a official comment...About weeks ago I asked if there will be a chance to hear someone from the label AES DANA at Boom, the answer was.."for sure"..I had contact wth AES DANA and they wrote nobody from AES will be at the Boom in 2008. I asked the Boom Crew why they say yes when it is no...no more mail back ..its not a good way like that.....I am at the Boom since 2000 its really something very ! special.....but there should be a bit more 'real' communication this year ..I think...still believe its gonna be great.....rainbows!

5 minutes ago i talked with someone from the Boom organisation on the phone!!!

So people, this is the latest information:

For the Main-Dancefloor and the Groovy Beach: there are gonna be 3 or 4 artist more to the line-up of each of these stages and than it's final.

For the Ambient Forest: they are working on the line-up and are still in contact with artists to book and it's gonna be anounced as soon as possible.

Love & Light

From one subject to another.. For me as a first-timer at Boom, I'd like to know how the guards in the partying area react on people who are openly smoking a spliff. I hope they're having a liberal attitude

Some words on the line-up subject...

The Boom opens freely its doors to people from Macedonia, right?

Well some Macedonian artists should also be incorporated in the line-up...

We'll keep the positive vibe! This'll be something special! Altough i do think that it would be so easy for BOOM crew, just to give us an answer. It would save so much speculations, anger and disapointment. And all that just based on illusions.

BOOM crew, please, just give us an answer!
