i saw the line up in the website the other day, im very very dissapointed by the choices for the dancefloor, why is not kashyyyk, alien mental or atriohm playing? what about osom/kdd/psykovsky?
i guess there will be never be something like 2006 ever again, clearly it has taken another direction, specially with this groovy beach thing

I think atriohm is....but i have to agree with you with the groovy beach thing - dont think this is the way to go!!!!!

Yeah, Groovy beach is really the wrong way.. Who cares about steroids
and house music at a psy party ??!
I also need more experimental night time music. to fully be
satisfied.. And thats really really far away from mainstream music...

I would be VERY much surprised if there would be "steroids" and commercial house music on the Groovy Beach...
This text on the boom website means something really different, just check out, and have a little faith in the organizers until they release the lineups  anyways I do...
"There's plenty of room for experimentation and fun, an attitude of feeding the music scene by clashing sounds and influences in the same place.
From 3pm to 8pm there's funk, reggae, dub and funky-mash up-beats. At 8pm dubstep will rule the place with a massive bass music and dense melodies. there's only one thing i don't like about groovy beach - what i want to hear will be played at night, when my favourite kind of trance will be playing at the dancefloor too

there is allways a reason that you have to leave the dancefloor for a little bit so what a better reason to do that for a walk to the groovy beach...!!!!!
Respect to the BOOM team for the diversity and the brilliant concept of the groovy beach..!!I am sure it wii rock...!!!!

The concept of Groovy Beach is interesting.
That BOOM has nothing to do with mainstream is shown over here. I'm happy about all this [..] funk, reggae, dub and funky-mash up-beats and Breakbeat music.
And for other tastes groovy beach will offer minimal tech and something around that.
I agree with # apatsi 13 # ... Respect for that kind of concept !!!!! 
For sure I'll spend some hours there ... At the evening, ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT ..  :

What a stupid thing to say! Not only the analogy is poor, it shows how limited and closed minded you are. Or maybe you are just one of those who thinks "Psychadelic" is exclusive to psy-trance...

Yes as filter said I am a little bit dissapointed with the night line up. Only few artists fit to my taste. I am really open minded with music in general and for me all electronic music are killa when it's well made and well mixed. But I think when you are talking about Psychedelic event it should be more artists who make real lysergic stuff. For me you can find really good fullon, house, electro, minimal music but it doesn't work the same on the brain, if I compare that to Parvati artists, Insomnia, Tantrumm, Mighty Quinn, Noise Poison. Psycrowdelica is cancelled and I was expecting so much on this event, beceause for me this party in 2007 was a REAL psychedelic experience! I just hope I will get this feeling this year too at Boom festival.

My friend Karash consider please that the final line up is coming tomorrow so be patient and optimistic...don't forget that 22 hours of music daily makes 150 hours dj set in a week,that means at least 70 djs and till now is only the halves confirmed....!!!!I am sure that there will be a lot of names that will fit also to your taste..peace bro.... |
