Wise decision. 
I normaly do the same thing, I love the day, but at Boom it was too hot :/
The few times we could drag our asses to the dancefloor there was no "wow, this is the type of trance I like!!" so, we would just head to the lake or chill-out.

Anyway, here's some variety, at least for the night.
Music like Menog's first album, Scatterbrain, Kindzadza, Seroxat, Darkpsy, Psyshark, Scorb, Deviant Species, Delysid, Hux-Flux, Digital Talk, Penta, Damage, Koxbox, Hallucinogen, Steptime, Prometheus, Pleiadians, Logic Bomb, Xenomorph... and so many others. There is no need to keep frying our brains all night long every single night if there are so many incredible artists out there.
Anyway, just my opinion.

yeah, i followed those rules in the last editions also. But that has a much more logical explanation lol
The heat is so sick during the day that if you dont sleep at night you won't sleep at all.
Don't try to mess with boom team, everything is perfect, even the music.
My preference goes to 12:00 and beyond like Goannes or Lilit eheh

as i said in a previous post... nobody do it best like BOOM crew...
Yes, i know that is hard to satisfy all the ppl regarding their music taste...
i totall y agreed with Asuhra lastt post.. that say it all about my opinion!.... Simply there was no WOWWWW  on the dance-floor for me...

i so wanted to make it to BOOM 2006 but couldnt come up wit the $  but am workkkin my butt off now to make it thr...
i always go thru pictures n jes feel the enrgy of the ppl and the place thru my laptop screen n im always left with a smile on my face...
cnt wait for next yr aug... its goin to be magikal for sure!

oh Asuhra don't say that!! music at night at boom 2006 was brilliant!! for people who want to hear night full on like some of your suggestions there are all the other parties during the year!! for people like me that pretty much only likes dark trance, we don't have parties with that kind of music here in portugal, only at boom!! so i really hope they keep frying our brains during the night, or fry even harder next years, hehe
i've been to boom 2002, 2004 and 2006 and i think it gets better everytime i can't wait for next year!

Bomm festival is not a festival... for me the 2006 edition was THE festival... it really was about unity, respect of diversity and culture...
Althow I must say I was not soo happy with the night time line up... ok we need music for all ppl, sure... But guys... if we only have dark sounds at night (all nights!!) and put the progy and fullon souds during the day (when it is far to hot in the dancefloor to enjoy) I think it is not soo nice for the non dark fans... (IMHO)
I am allready looking forward to BOOM 2008... will be there whatever sounds is played at night (there is always the chill out anyway)... but would be really happy for some non-psyko sound during (some) nights...

I've never been to Boom due my work obligations...
I would like to come for sure on 2008 as I changed work
I hope the musik style is NOT changing!!!
BOOM is unique, and thanks to the organiser is not becoming as all the others big festivals... full of full-on crappy commercial sound.
KEEP IT UNDERGROUND!
