for the food and drink read the rule n°10 again it's written EXCEPT PICNIC & CAMPING AREA so for me it means you can bring food and drink at your camp but not bring it into the festival area. |

I think they maybe mean the dancing area and chill....
That sound more logical for me... The camping area is a little bit divided from the stages..... |

well what about plastic botles with more then 500ml? why arent they allowed?
even in 2002 u could buy 1,5L water in the festival bar and now u cant even take one to the dancefloor?

To some extent i can uderstand why they prohibit food being brought in the premises. Imagine what the fuck will happen to the place when everyone takes out salami, skarra, veal, pork-chops and what not. That place will buzz...literally, with flies and bacteria. I eat meat and I would like to devour some shish-kebabs straight from the charcoal but people are irresponsible with meat and someone WILL get sick!
Sealed food should be ok. Things like chips, candy and so on. But why in the name of trance would you not let people bring alcohol? Everyone should be entitled to one bottle. Don't worry organizers, that alcohol will be consumed the first day and you would still sell your stuff
I wish you merry partying

Well i wrote to the Boom Team in search of some explanations. They wrote me back saying that the "outside" food and drinks will only be forbiden inside the artistic and comercial area. Regarding the photos the prohibition is only valid for commercial photos.
So it seems that the camping area will be separated from the Festival area itself....bring your bike as they say!!!!! Or at least if you want to camp inside the festival area no food or drinks are allowed from the outside.....
