Need help coming from New York City. "Cheap" flights to Lisbon are $1100-way too much! Any tricks on crossing the great river at a somewhat reasonable price?

leave JFK 7 August 2008 for London
return 21 August from London to JFK
price: $698
Then from London you can fly British Airways to Lisbon for $200 (i'm sure you could get a lot cheaper if you looked around..)
Total: $900. A little less... hope it helps...

Hello, well, everyone knows that in every edition of boom the constructions are diferent from the previous edition and boom crew have always surprised us specially with the size of those structures... A friend of mine from Idanha-a-nova told me that at the 2008 boom's edition the constructions will be made of clay and straw!  If true, we'll have like an african village over there but with big structures. We will see... |

i am planing to go this year for sure . all i wanted to know is , if there is ne 1 from india also planing. then it wud be gr8 if i can go with some 1 . i want to book my tickects and apply for my visa . if there is ne 1 wo can guide me wo shud i contcat for visa and tickets and how much wud it cost me for the whole trip.
And i do not want to go alone !

just some food for thougth - to much people doesn´t mean quality - so far from the 3 editions of boom i went, the 1st one, who had less people, was the one with more spirit.

But Boom is for everyone, though it runs the risk of loosing the spirit....
