Good points here. We show the way, the change. Boom provides solutions for food and water problems, because it shows creative ways to live sustainably and in autonomy, whatever happens, in harmony with Earth. We are better "sedating ourselves with acid" than giving our energy thinking about problems we cannot resolve directly. By changing our minds and living how we should, we help changing on a more global scale. And yes, reality IS Love & Light, as much as it is bombs and destruction. Reality,I feel, is what you choose to live! BOOM! |

simply one of the best parties of my life... 7 days dancing, meeting people from every part of the world, taking pictures and... oh... nothing else!!!!
it was very long and hard to go to the party, flight from italy to madrid, bus to lisbon, train to castelo branco, bus to idanha, 7/8 km walking under the sun with my backpack and finally 2 hours at the door... but i wasn't going to dance in a glittering club, i was going to the boom, it was something like a purification process from my past life... and when i finally was inside... i was ready... BOOM!!!!!
i didn't have any problem with water and i've drank only free water from every fountain...
queues for the shower were too long but no problem for me, i was in a open air trance party so i didn't care if my smell wasn't dolce&gabbana styla!
queues for food were too long... so often i had to choose other food in other hours of the day or sometimes not eating... but i was in a party, not in a restaurant
queues for wc or battery charger or everything else were too long... so i had to find the best times of the day, when there were no queues... but i remember to everybody here that a long queue is always the perfect time to roll a joint!!!
when i didn't want to stay in a line waiting for something i could do the best thing that you can always do in a party... going to the dancefloor and BOOM!!!

the keep it real track is ultravoice vs rizo - keep it real and im pretty sure the track that was played in the boom was azax syndrom's remix to it and not the original
oh and the lady that was playing was back to mars... she was incredible |

Just came back today from Europe,Ozora and Boom
and a little bit hanging out in southern spain
Hmm i see the usual reaction all over
some like it some dont.
With so many people being part of this years edition of boom
no wonder you will have reviews ranging from absolut shit to heavenly...
i have to say for the sheer amount of people attending
great organisation and great concept
- Green Multicultural Boom -
So much detail work allover the place plus all the unseen details and great toilet concepts
that sometimes things wont work according to ideal
is part of life but they tried hard to keep it alive and working
What a sheer amount of possibilities to attend
4 different dancefloors plus healing and inspirational area
plus all the little crazy things along the yes a bit too widespread areas who has been in the big caleidoscope
was very trippy ...
On the maindancefloor i enjoyed the sets from Mubali
and his psyfunk sound.
the second night, Parus nice to see the twinaction,
Dj Olowanpi with brilliant music selection, and then Atriohm with very nice liveset...
Third night Ajja and Dj Spliffnik with good energy
and Irgum Burgum with too much unicum?
forth night i slept too hot during the day
and last night with Ocelot Jahbo and Texas Faggot
was just great
alltogether i liked the second nigth with parus and olowanpi
the best the energy and freshness of the boom
was just awesome
the finish of the boom was a bid cheap in my oppinion
you could hardly see the costumes and videoanimation
but hey you cant make everybody happy all the time
besides that i was hardly spending time on the dancefloor
during the day its just too hot for me
but i heard some nice tunes rocking over to the lake from time to time
one thing the groovy beach was definitly too near
but its the first year like this and there is allways room for progress....
So in general i have to say i really liked this edition of boom
different than before its a growing and expanding process
and good to see they dont try to do the same old same old
anyway i had a great time and will come back in 2010

hello its just to say that once again boom was the biggest festival in the historie of trance partys thank to all the workers that made this festival possivel and to all the bad talkers hope that they learn something for 2010 ,was the best party i went in all my live best moments on the main floor,dj anneli,rastalien,shadow fx,bigwings,dj nick,tetrameth,burn in noise e tristan all by day, i didn´t went there at nigth just from sun rise to sun set ,see you all on 2010 in the main floor boom e growing but its coming always better and never forget that all you trancers in the world you are always welcome to dance in portugal we are one all!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the positive feedback Goaren, but I was the first DJ on the dancefloor on the first day. Maybe he means DJ Nem? She closed the dancefloor with progressive tunes, but I think it was on the second day...
I would also like to account my favourit artists playing at the Boom: Khopat, Antagon, Cosmo (amazing from 160 to 180 bpm, how does he do that?), The First Stone (I was happily surprised with their music!), Ajja, The Peaking Goddess Collective, Shadow FX and Tetrameth! Terrakota playing at the Sacred Fire was another level of music, I'm brazilian so I could really enjoy the games and play they had in the music! Would like to have seen Atriohm, Laughing Buddha, Texas Faggot, Error Corrective, Irgum Burgum and Subconcious Mind, but with so much to do, a week is not enough for all...
And in a perfect world: Jahbo live set, yes!
