Dreaming. Progressive music used to have a sound like this one, back in 2005 for exemple, which I like the most from this kind of style. Polaris is a very promising project, especially nowadays.
Very busy project with many bookings and releases and its very good, so I can say. Morning trip is one of the most perspective and I notice that people love it more and more. For this release I can say that I'm very glade, cause artist holds really progressive trance grove as it should be. Without mixig any of techno newly elements with minimalistic colors on it. Its not that i don't like minimalistic way of expression, but here we are talking about real progressive trance music, which this album actually is. The name of release fits totally in concept of tracks on album. So many deep elements in atmosphere and groove as well. Pads and leads are pure morning treasure and make this compositin as something extraordinary for jently swag. The bigest impression on me leaves collaboration with great names like Zen Mechanics, Voyager & Bambo Forest. I like that, cause in my oppinion, collaboration between artists is very intelectual thing and leaves big impression on consumers, with sound as much as with names that do this collab on tracks. Lots of people should work that way. Very strong and smart move. Nothing unusual nowadays, but big plus and respect for this.
I notice one really great vocal in track "The Realm" which brings me about 10 years back and reminds me of an old track called "Hot like sun and wet like the rain" I liked very much when i was younger. Sometimes, memories can decide which track should be favorite on album
Becides clasical progressive beat, Polaris bring to us a bit faster and harder tracks BUT still keeps it progressive groove, no mater its rolling bassline oscilaton. Totally like it.
I keep my attention on melodies and background effect in track and I can say that guy take this job so seriously. I hear many projects with apsolutley same lines and melodies in tracks and this is not case on this releas at all. No matter that software today gives to anyone thousands and thousands samples, loops and templates, served on a plate, its easy to notice what sounds seriously and what sounds like packing lines with finished material free downloaded from internet.
I used to liked this kind of progressive trance music but from with time its almost desapired. This album brings me feeling i felt 4-5 years before.
Just hope that I will have opportunity to hear Polaris on some of festivals this summer. Till then I will enjoyt this CD for sure!!!
Perfect.

In my personnal opinion Polaris music give me one of the best morning soundscapes that trance music have to offer (along with Johannes Regniers aka Silicon Sound) !

This is pure Trance music without that techy minimal influence... and the thing is that his music can still sound fresh in spite of all the trend that we are living in electronic music nowdays.

Great album

And Lara i share the same hope... Polaris in a summer festival would be something very special!
