nice sounds indeed, but needs some more mixing.
kick is too suby to my taste. it can be that way, but then the bass should be suby too. percussions and hats are too looped, no variations and diversity there. more nice fx sounds / supporting hooks here and there would fit too.
anyways seems like you are on the right path, just need a bit more time to work on it.
Sorry for posting here, I noticed the workshop after starting the thread, my fault! I asked the moderator to delete it, since I opened the same thread there.
Yeah, it's not THAT polished! I made it in one afternoon! I was focusing more in showcase the possibilities of the modular system (the manufacturer is a friend of mine).
Since I don't like to use samples, I try to synthesize all the elements. Kick was made with filter ressonance, hats and snare with noise, etc...
I have to experiment more with the kick, do some more layering with more synthesized sounds. It's booming 808 style right? I didn't want to make like a super thud attack kick, more like a relaxing tone, after all it's 97bpm if I remember correctly.
But I'll make it more interesting and post back here!
