Hey guys! I'm new to this forum so I posted this thread in the wrong section.
Plase moderator, delete the other post at the production forum and keep this one.
Alright, I've put together this quick track yesterday, I was experimenting with my new modular system, any feedback welcome!! I'll try my best to listen to all people music and leave feedback too.
I recommend to download the WAV file, cause soundcloud format ruins the sounds.
ALL SOUNDS SYNTHESIZED! NO SAMPLES USED!
Kick with filter ressonance, snare and hats with noise, etc...
Hope you guys enjoyed!! It's kind of a "remix" of a Jens Buchert track.

decent chillout. but def needs some polish and eq. for me the kick is too open, maybe some compression would help. or closing cutoff and flt decay, openning flt env amount a bit (my taste of course). I know you synthesized it.

since i'm kind of a sucker for this kind of minimal slomo chillout, i really enjoyed it.
the mix can definitely use more work. the interaction between the kick and the bass can be more cohesive. i think you can remove some mud from either or both to make them fit together better. it also sounds like the bass is sidechained to the kick and i think you should play around with that some more (make the kick a little shorter or maybe set the threshold a little higher).
you snare sounds a really harsh. it actually doesn't even really sound like a snare and more like a hat. a lot of 1-3KHz, but no body. which is ok. it works. but it still sounds harsh.
it's also a little too minimal. i think you can add a few more percussive elements and a few more one shots/synth elements.
also, that small melody sounds a little too static. you should add some kind of subtle modulation to change it up slightly. though the whole track doesn't really sound static, thanks to the slowly morphing pads that you have throughout the track.
