You should definitely come to Arizona while you're in the States. We have numerous fire and poi crews out here, and almost much everyone involved in the psy scene also spins poi. Also, hooping has gotten super huge here lately.

we have a lot of poi spinners, hoopers, and fire enthusiasts in the North Carolina area as well! burners abound. |

I love poi so much--love to witness others' styles, love to learn new hybrids/ moves, love how it helps my mind and body. I've never tried the staff before. How do you like it?

eek. hunting gets a thumbs down 
the staff is pretty rad. i find poi more beautiful though and you can produce more variety with poi.
the staff is easier to learn/spin though.
