i think u need to give it more BASS.. try to add more low freqs like in the 80-100hz and less on the 450-500.. the kick is good tho thats my opinion.

check the level of your kick and bass, it seems that kick is much louder than bass. as RajaRan said it needs to be equed, that bass does not sound like bass nice bassline btw.

right...

my latest effort was to try and enhance the bass as much as possible without mudding everything...
I also attempted to remove annoying clicks and other unwanted noise.
please tell me if I'm close enough now and if there's anything else that needs to be tweaked.

definitely better than before i`m wondering if the higher freqs of the bass will not interfere with the rest of the track, well but it depends on the sounds you will use... as for a bassline itself it`s a nice point to start....

can you upload a demo of the track ?

Hi, I'm checking these 3 mixes on my Quested F11's, I would say the seconed mix is the best! 3rd mix is muddy!

@GuhLima :
I used Albino with quite a hefty chain of effects. Mostly Waves Rcomp, Quadrafuzz, and 2 sets of 6Band REQ's.
@SpiritOscillator:
yeah that could be so...
I'm still working hard to get the ballance right. My room and speakers aren't really top-notch so that makes it a bit harder to achieve.
I still get blown away when I compare my bass to that of professional published tracks ...lol
