I was very surprised to read this on the plusquam site (http://www.plusquam-records.de):
"plusquam records is changing its structures. new owner, new office and soon a new website. please visit our site for updated informations."
does anybody have some more information about this? i thought plusquam belonged to antaro. |

dunno who's running Plusquam now. would guess it would be Laureth...

Juergen, i.e. dj Laureth, (who has been running the music-side of things at Plusquam) will take over as the owner and re-open the label after spiritzone moves to Ibiza. The musical vision will remain, and laureth has top taste in music, so you can expect nothing but quality releases from Plusquam in the future. He tells me the 1st compilation might be out in September/October, a compilation selected by him and Sascha, i.e. Bitmonx.
(BTW, the latest Plusquam compilation, widescreen, is a beast. In a bigtime dj set, you can play out almost every track.) |

yes, it's true.. antaro was the owner of plusquam. but times are hard for the underground labels and we had to shrink and re-organize everything to keep the labels alive. antaro decided to move to ibiza and concentrate his work on spirit zone. i've been in the position of the a&r at spirit zone since two years, focussing on our sublabel plusquam. the reputation of the label was getting better and better during this time, but unfortunately the sales are still not good enough to run an office and to employ workers. antaro was about to stop plusquam. i didn't want to let it die, because i can see that the label is growing. antaro gave me the chance to take it over and so i did..
next cd, compiled by bitmonx + laureth will be out in the end of september.
i will reduce the output a bit, but try to raise the quality of our releases even more. it is planed to release 6 cd's a year... |

indeed 6 cd's is not bad at all ... I'm looking forward 
big support to the plusquam concept ... I really hope things will keep growing .
