hey Forza, from this thread i understand that you have been given the charge to open new threads...shows in the barrage of mods trying to defend u...you are doin a good job, and keep it up

however, i think u should research the indian scene a bit more since this question only makes us think: wow, you foreigner asking a hot indian chick just to get her in bed; though she wont

prem is love, and purana means old (which is more popular) though it can also mean ancestral wisdom (redundant use).

I would like some close-home person given the responsibility of opening such wise deep philosophical butter-naan threads.

Whether religious love can be expressed in similar terms to interpersonal love is a matter for philosophical debate. Religious 'love' might be considered a euphemistic term, more closely describing feelings of deference or acquiescence. Most religions use the term love to express the devotion the follower has to their deity, who may be a living guru or religious teacher. This love can be expressed by prayer, service, good deeds, and personal sacrifice. Reciprocally, the followers may believe that the deity loves the followers and all of creation. Some traditions encourage the development of passionate love in the believer for the deity. The tension between religious love of the other and self-affirmation is resolved in part by contrasting both love and self-affirmation with their impostors.

99% of the cases of all actions done in this world have a selfish reason behind it. Its only at the altar of LOVE... man serves unconditionally, without any expectations.

For example, When you serve your mother, you dont do it with a reason attatched to it, the mere joy that you receive out of serving her is all the joy you need.

If every action of ours is preceded by Pure thoughts by the Intellect, it would lead to less agigtations in the Mind, and your actions by the Body would be Saintly...

The books tell us how this is possible -

It tells us that when you tune your thoughts to only want to serve the supreme reality, the truth of our universe, the ever-exsisting brahman, by itself!, all your thoughts are purified, it would lead to no agigtations in the mind and thus your actions would be pure.

When you are here to only serve the changeless truth... in a constantly changing world you will have NO expectations... because you know this world has/is/will always change and thats not in your control (thoughts and actions of everyone around you are constantly changing even towards you)... when you realize this truth and then see the outwer world through your eyes all you need to do is give unconditionally... & if you do get something back, be grateful and if you dont - why are you worried? Theres nothing to expect! When you´re serving on behalf of the Lord, it is HE who should worry bout what he gets back, we just need to smile and keep serving

This is my understanding of Divine Love (Prema) that would cover Peace, Love,Unity,Respect.

Again, I havent researchd in depth Prema Purana and it would be great to hear other peoples views.

I would have beilieved you if I didnt have a few living examples very close to me who follow this principle with a full heart... every action of their´s is a product of unconditional love, and I´m sure you mustve come across these great people in your life too, and Im not talking of Saints and Sages... only from the people living around us... specially the older generations as they have their principles embedded in the depths of their personality.

But you made a good point... and I can see some truth in that... that even selfless love can be for a reason to make yourself pure... and thats the only selfish reason behind it. But to be selfish for God´s Love brings only Bliss... and harm to none

hahaha... you can say that... as long as its for the right reasons... which is to serve others or serve the Lord thus making it an unselfish service. We would be going around in circles if this continues           No great genius has ever existed without some touch of madness...
