imo photoshop is powerfull enough without plugins.

i'm with gilad  photoshop is a powerfull tool, and the thing with effects is that they're easely identifyable (like flame fractal tools, and kpt ...) it's hard to be original with some of'm ... then again if you just use them occasionally in an alternative way they can be used to do crazy things...
all my stuff is done with standard photoshop, no additions ( www.psygarden.be/vault - rik section)
