Hi guys

Been producing psy-trance for years now, have to say it has been a journey.

Today I would like to share with you the excellent plugins I have found ( trial an tested ) throughout the years, which I use on a daily basis to form my sound to crisp quality.

Its not how many tools you have, its about knowing how each of these tools work and what their purpose is. ( i.e. using a hammer the wrong way around is gonna become a drag. )
Knowing you're equipment is a key factor in being a good music producer.
Keep in mind that music is about the balance between all the elements.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Cytomic The Glue / Sonalksis SV-315 Mk2 - for compression

Quadrafuzz / Dada life sausage fattener - for distortion & Fattening up

Fabfilter Q / Voxengo 16 band Marvel GEQ - for equalization

Uhbik-A & Uhbik-D - Reverb & Delay
( The whole bundle rocks, the flanger + phaser is also great. Nice quality effects. )

M-ST vst / Flux stereo Tool - Controlling stereo width

Son of a Pitch - Pitch Modulation / Automation
Love this little guy - can set pitch range from 1 semitones up to 3 octaves

Sugerbytes Turnado - Sound Morphing Effects ( very nice plugin, rather than loading a reverb + chorus + phaser + stutter + etc, which can place some load on the CPU, using turnado- you load one instance which has 8 slots for various effects included, like mentioned above. )

Izotope Ozone - Analyzing / Maximizing & Limiting

Have a great day

why do you prefer Son of a Pitch to in-DAW pitching? does it sound especially nice? just the modulation options?

i like RX2 for pitching stuff up, very smooth and tweakable, although i use it in standalone so no automation etc..

Its a pleasure guys.. Main point of forums is to share knowledge and experience..

Snowdogg... Well with DAW's i have always found some limitation when it comes to controlling pitch. . I like Son of a pitch based on the control.. 3 oct is plenty of variation.. And its free.. Automating is also easy and presice..
Also nice to change notes with it... Creates a nice glide effect... End point.. It does the job well enough
